Arab Summit to Discuss Gaza Situation after Israeli Raids Killed 225 Palestinians

Qatar called for an emergency Arab summit to be held in Doha next Friday after massive Israeli air raids on Gaza left at least 225 Palestinians killed and 400 wounded on Saturday. While Hamas urged its Qassam Brigades to retaliate in “all ways,” Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak vowed to continue for “as long as necessary.” 
Late Saturday, exiled Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal called on Palestinians to wage a new Intifada against Israel, including a return to suicide missions. (more…)

At Least 195 Palestinians Killed in Massive Military Operation on Gaza
