The Maronite Church on Friday criticized the Hizbullah-led opposition for closing parliament, boycotting presidential election sessions and the resigned ministers.
A strongly-worded statement issued by secretariat of the Maronite Church noted that “the constitutional rule states that MPs should go to parliament, review names (of candidates) and elect one of them for the presidential office.” (more…)
